There's a great PDF currently available for free that comes with lesson plans and worksheets to learn the states and the state abbreviations. I thought it'd be great for any of you who are tying the postcard swap into a unit.

I know about a couple of brill sites for learning the states and capitals - this one : http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/web_games.htm and there is a fun and clever Animaniacs song on Youtube - just type animaniacs states and capitols in the youtube search! have fun! let me know if you ever do a Europe postcard swap - we're in Germany!
